This was taken now maybe a year ago. I took this of my brother watching a sunset on the edges of lake Champlain in Burlington Vermont. This was taken with my Canon 1DS.

I shot it with a 1 stop ND filter to get the movment in the water. Then i selectively dodged and burned in PS CS3. Still not done with the sky as i would like to work on the halo around the trees.

All you need is a little luck...the right light...a canon 1ds a 400MM lense, a polarizer and a little luck with the positioning of boats...

this shot reminded me of some type of ad. not sure which kind yet. but none the less it was fun to shoot

This was a photo taken recently at arches. There was a storm coming in and I was lucky enough to have the light create some very unique colors. Later that evening i got some great lightning shots Ill post tomorrow
